Biometric Data Policy

Facial-geometry features derived from a photo you upload, used solely to render the blended card you asked for. We do not build a searchable face database, identify strangers, or use your face to train AI models.

We collect or analyze facial geometry only after you give informed consent at the point of upload — you are told, in writing, that biometric data is being collected, the specific purpose (rendering your AI card/animation), and how long it is kept, and you affirmatively agree before any geometry is computed.

We use facial geometry for exactly one thing: generating and letting you view or re-share the Gift Pong card you created. Nothing else.

We do not sell, lease, trade, or otherwise profit from biometric data, and we do not disclose it except to the processors strictly necessary to render your card (e.g. the image-generation and safety-moderation services listed in our Privacy Policy), none of whom may sell or repurpose it.

We retain facial geometry only as long as needed to create and let you view/re-share your card. We permanently destroy it at the earliest of:

• when the purpose for collecting it has been satisfied;
• on your deletion request (account or photo deletion); or
• within three (3) years of your last interaction with Gift Pong.

One narrow exception: if specific content is subject to a legal preservation duty (for example, material reported to the NCMEC CyberTipline, which we must preserve for one year under federal law), that specific item is preserved for the required period and then destroyed.

You can delete your photos and your account anytime from your settings, or by emailing support@giftpong.com. Deletion removes your stored photos and any associated facial geometry.

Gift Pong is for adults 18 and older. We verify date of birth at signup and do not knowingly collect biometric data from minors. See our Privacy Policy and Terms.
